TAKE A PISS AT LIFE!

Sometimes, you are there, your head twirling with ideas, mind going agog with all the things you need to do. But somewhere in that same head, questions of your ability plague you. You’re asking yourself whether you are good enough to make that big break; whether there is something you’ve got that makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd.

You are unsure.

And that is fine. It is the nature of humans to be unsure and worry sometimes about the things they can’t control.

Or the ones they think they can’t control.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

And you also don’t have to worry yourself to death about the possibility of life being a failure when you can always bet on yourself.

See, i have a bad habit of constantly searching for the negatives in things i do. The plan will not work because…the client will not agree to my price because…there won’t be enough money to settle the bills because…

These negatives have somehow defined me, so much so that my first reaction to any tough situation is pessimism.

But that shit is flawed. That shit is as stupid as saying Barcelona is the worst-run football club in the world.

You owe nobody any form of optimism. No, you don’t. But you owe yourself all the optimism and positivity in the world. You owe yourself commitment. You owe yourself discipline. You owe yourself success.

You should — and in a bid not to come off as insensitive, you must — be accountable to yourself. You are demanded to serve yourself. You are demanded to serve your purpose; serve your vision; serve all that you have set out to do.

I write this with a big, bold dream staring me in the eye.

I write this with the sole aim of telling you that you have no other option than to be successful. You had better get off your mediocrity horse and start making things work how you want them to.

Stop waiting for things to be right.

Stop waiting for the messiah to come.

You are your own messiah, as it is. Start living like one!

It is on this note I officially open my mental health clinic for men.

It is called THE MEN’S CAVE.

What do we do here?

We talk, inspire, and grow as men. Welcome to the men’s cave!
